Our Soccer Bible Camp is cohosted along with Zion Lutheran Church of Egg Harbor and held at the soccer fields in Jacksonport.

Who & What

  • Children ages 5-13

  • Instruction in God’s pure Word

  • Quality soccer instruction

Daily Camp Details

  • 9:00 - 11:00 AM

  • Please do not drop off your child any sooner than 8:55 AM!!! If you arrive early, please keep your child in your vehicle.

  • Plenty of water on hand for the kids to fill up their water bottles.

  • Make sure your child goes to the bathroom before you leave home.

  • There will be no snack provided this year. Please make sure your child eats a good breakfast before they arrive at camp.

  • We strongly encourage that each camper wear shinguards

  • Cleats are also recommended, but not necessary

  • If all goes according to plan, there will be new jerseys and water bottles handed out this year. If your child brings their own water bottle, please make sure that it is CLEARLY marked as your child’s bottle.

  • The water refilling station will be manned only by camp staff who have properly sanitized their hands. Children will take their own lid off, and carefully hold their bottle at least three inches below the spigot to avoid contamination. All campers will carefully space out their water bottles in the grass.

  • All campers will sanitize their hands when they arrive at camp. Sanitizer will be provided. They will also sanitize before they leave camp.

  • If your child is sick with any illness, please do not bring them to camp. If a child is found to be sick at camp with any illness, they will need to be brought home immediately.

  • Please self-assess symptoms for all family members for 14 days prior to camp. If any family member has any symptoms in that period, do not come to camp.

  • We will maintain social distancing in all situations to every extent possible. When we have our break with our daily lesson, campers will be spread throughout the pavilion area and no children (except those from the same household) will be allowed to sit together.

  • Masks will not be required. If you expect your child to wear a mask, we recommend you not bring your child to camp. It will be hot, and some of the drills will be strenuous. We do not want children suffering from oxygen depletion and passing out because of wearing a mask during strenuous activity. We also do not want children continuously messing around with their masks which nearly defeats every purpose of wearing them. If you want your child to wear a mask during our break/lesson time, that is fine as we will be seated in the pavilion. But they are required to properly care for their masks (e.g., need shorts with pockets in which to store their mask). No one but your child will be allowed to touch or handle their mask.

  • Every day they will bring home a sheet reviewing what they learned in soccer skills and what they learned from God’s Word.

  • We WILL be hosting a Family Grill Out this year at then end of camp!!! More information will be available at the time of camp.
